The Manual Handling Course provides the delegate will have the required knowledge to assess lifting situations and to be able to demonstrate "kinetic lifting" under supervision of the instructor.
Under the manual handling operations regulations 1992, suitable training needs to be undertaken. Many companies and individuals are under the impression that this does not apply to them, this misconception can have serious consequences. Most back and spinal pain is caused by continual bad lifting, twisting and stretching and not single trauma injuries.
Our training includes the use of theory, props, tuition and practical lifting techniques to teach you how to lift, carry, move and transport objects safely. Courses can be tailored to your exact needs and training usually takes around 4 hours.
